When you have some spare time make these ahead and store in an air-tight container.

One cup of maida (all purpose flour)
25gms of soft butter
I tspn of any herb or mixed herbs
¼ tspn or more of chili flakes
¼ tspn of black pepper (powdered)
A very tiny pinch of baking powder
¼ tspn of salt

Cream the butter and add all the ingredients.
If the dough is too hard just add a few drops of chilled water.
Put the dough in between 2 sheets of plastic and roll out the dough until thin or required size.
Remove the top sheet.
With a cutter or a steel glass or with a sharp lid cut out small rounds. Prick with a fork and place in the freezer for a few minutes. Remove with the help of a broad flat knife or a spatula and place on a baking tray.
You can also place the rounds in tart moulds or in a muffin tray.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

Did not count how many tarts we made but I'll take a guess and say about 25. Depends on the size you make.

Please let me know how many you got from this recipe! Ok. Great thanks.
